This $18 Cleanser Is the Star of Chrissy Teigen’s Bathtime Ritual
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are couple goals in every sense of the phrase. Not only do they keep it real on social media, but they also support each other’s projects. Case in point: In an Instagram Reel posted on Monday, June 17, the “All of Me” singer shared a seemingly candid clip of his wife using the Exfoliating Cleanser ($18) from his skincare line, Loved 01—available at CVS stores and Walmart locations nationwide.
In the clip, he films Teigen in the bath. “What is going on here?” he asks as she diligently scrubs her legs with his exfoliating cleanser. She replies, “Getting all my body makeup off.” Legend shared the video with his 15.8 million Instagram followers, captioning it, “Sometimes you gotta exfoliate,” tagging the model and noting that the exfoliating cleanser is her favorite Loved 01 product. Some viewers were surprised by the color of the bathtub water, questioning why it appeared muddy in the comments section of Legend’s video. To address their inquiries, the cookbook author commented, “The water is dirty because I’m getting my body makeup off, like I said in the video, my sweet angels!” (The SI Swimsuit model has been vocal about her fondness for body makeup for years.)
