Known as the queen of highlighting, we asked of Dior UK Celebrity Makeup Ambassador Nicky Wolff To create her signature glowing skin on Francesca Hayward with a golden-toned eye to catch the light and add drama to the set.

Started with Nikki Dior Backstage Face and Body Universal Primer, £27.50. Known as a makeup artist’s secret weapon, this primer helps create a flawless base and plumps skin so it’s hydrated and ready for foundation. Nikki used it to bring out Francesca’s color Dior Backstage Face and Body Foundation, £29.50Because it is easier to blend liquid texture sealants when you build coverage.

‘I used again Dior Backstage Face & Body Glow, £28.50‘, Nikki says. ‘I apply this liquid highlighter to all the high points of her face. It is infused with pearl pigments so the skin gets a beautiful glow. The pigments also help diffuse light, leaving a soft glow while still looking natural and fresh.’

After this Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette in Glitz, £36. ‘I dusted a fluffy brush on shimmery peach, bronze and pearl shades and then lightly swept it along her cheekbones, temples, under her brow bones and on the tip of her nose to add dimension. Nikki says it’s all about a small amount of product, cleverly placed to achieve a natural-looking glowing skin.

As for Francesca’s twinkling eyes: ‘Using the Dior Golden Nights 5 Collars Couture in Golden Snow, £50, I applied a slightly deeper shade from the palette along the lash lines to give definition, then I pressed a little golden tone on the center of her lid,’ explains Nikki. ‘I wanted to create dimension while keeping it soft and flattering.’

‘I used then Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara in Black, £28. The wand is great at capturing and picking up every raindrop so they look beautifully swirling. I coated each lash in a layer of this lightweight formula, both top and bottom so Francesca’s eyes looked bright and defined,’ explains Nikki.

The look was finished with a sweep of Dior Golden Nights Rouge Blush in Rose Frisson, £38 To bring a little color to Francesca’s cheeks and Dior Lip Gloss in Rosewood, £28. This tinted balm gives lips a rosy tint with a glossy finish, all in one swipe.
